Kentro is seeking a disciplined and strategic Sr. Project Manager to lead a specialized 20-person task force executing a high-stakes Zero Trust initiative at U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This role is the operational heartbeat of the "Data Visibility, Labeling, and Governance" pillar, responsible for driving a complex, 18-month deployment plan across three distinct network enclaves: NIPR, SIPR, and the air-gapped Hemlock network. As the Project Manager, you will hold primary responsibility for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), managing cross-functional dependencies between cloud-native implementations and "sovereign" on-premise environments. You will serve as the primary liaison between the technical execution team and the centralized EDAT ZT Leadership Cell, ensuring that architectural decisions align with the broader enterprise strategy and that the project meets its aggressive milestones for discovery, classification, and enforcement.

Requirements

  • Master of Science (MS) or Master of Arts (MA) degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex technical programs, preferably within the DoD or USSOCOM environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies to execute a "Crawl, Walk, Run" phased deployment strategy.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles.
  • Experience managing projects involving air-gapped or disconnected (DDIL) networks.

Responsibilities

  • Program Execution & Scheduling: Maintain and execute the detailed Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the 18-month "Data Visibility, Labeling, and Governance" project, ensuring all milestones across NIPR, SIPR, and Hemlock are met on time.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the activities of a 20-FTE matrixed execution team, consisting of Data Security Architects, Cloud Engineers, and Integration Specialists, ensuring optimal resource allocation and task prioritization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the EDAT ZT Leadership Cell, providing regular status reports and coordinating with the Chief Architect and ISSM to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Dependency Management: Proactively identify and manage cross-pillar dependencies and cross-enclave constraints, specifically preventing bottlenecks where delays in the complex Hemlock environment might impede progress in NIPR.
  • Risk & Quality Assurance: Monitor project risks and oversee the quality control of all transition artifacts, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and TTPs, before submission to the Technical Writer.
