About The Position
The Post Delivery & Surface Ship Support organization is looking for a strong candidate to support both the DDG 1000 Planning Yard (PY) and DDG 51 Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) contracts. The overarching objective of this position is to ensure both programs meet or exceed their performance goals in the areas of Technical Quality, Schedule, Cost & Management. This will require daily coordination with individuals from the Program Office, Program Controls, Estimating, Design & Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Fabrication Planning, Fabrication Facilities & Warehousing. There will also be extensive interactions with our Navy customers at SupShip Bath, PMS-500 & PMS-400D. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong versatility in shifting back and forth between the requirements of these two diverse contracts on a regular basis. This position reports to the DDG 1000 PY & DDG PSA Program Manager.
