About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager/Information Architect to support large-scale, mission-critical systems within a federal public health environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with deep expertise in enterprise architecture, system integration, and data-driven solutions, combined with a strong track record of delivering impactful systems across complex organizations. You will play a key role in shaping enterprise platforms that enhance transparency, data visibility, and scientific integrity across the organization. Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide systems supporting research, data management, and public health initiatives Collaborate with senior stakeholders, scientific leaders, and cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions Drive system integration across platforms to support end-to-end data visibility (e.g., funding, research, datasets, publications, and reporting) Translate federal policies, regulations, and procedures into system functionality and architecture Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines Lead Agile delivery efforts, including iterative design, stakeholder feedback, and continuous improvement Oversee system rollout activities, including planning, stakeholder engagement, user onboarding, and training Design and implement data strategies including data cleansing, transformation, quality assurance, and analytics Develop reporting and visualization solutions (e.g., dashboards, on-demand reporting) to support leadership decision-making Support rapid-response initiatives for public health emergencies through system enhancements and real-time reporting capabilities

Requirements

  • 15+ years of IT experience across enterprise architecture, system integration, and software development
  • Extensive experience delivering enterprise systems within federal environments (public health experience highly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and large stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated success delivering systems on time and within budget
  • Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Waterfall, UML
  • Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
  • Platforms: Windows, macOS, AWS
  • Tools: Power BI, JIRA, Visio, Microsoft Project, SQL Server Management Studio, ER Studio, ERwin
