Overview As McKesson transitions its Medical-Surgical business unit into a new independent entity, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional efforts focused on physical security and operational readiness. This role is critical to ensuring that security protocols, risk mitigation strategies, and incident response plans are implemented and aligned across global office environments. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in physical security operations, strong project leadership, and a proactive approach to managing risk in a dynamic transformation setting.

  • Support investigations and ensure alignment with organizational safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring systems and incident tracking tools
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and global security teams on investigative processes and risk posture
  • Track and manage risk mitigation plans, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards
  • Lead incident response planning and readiness activities
  • Maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation related to security posture
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align security protocols and transition plans
  • Lead planning and execution of separation-related projects with emphasis on security and operational continuity
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage interdependencies, and resolve issues related to site security readiness
  • Coordinate with the transformation office and external partners to ensure strategic alignment
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and governance bodies on security readiness and risk posture
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in security operations, facilities, or transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems, risk management, and incident response planning
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Smartsheet and Excel, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives using PowerPoint.
