The Senior Project Manager's role is the overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. Through contacts with users, architects, engineers, and code officials, the employee will be involved with all phases of design and construction management including user programming, design, construction, close-out/evaluation, and budget reporting. Requirements
- Must have understanding of accepted construction practices and building codes including familiarity to the IDPH guidelines and other various regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to sketch proposed designs.
- Personal computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Understanding and ability to create project schedules.
- Ability to function independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
