The Sr Project Manager for Enterprise Initiatives plays a crucial role in contributing to T-Mobile's success by delivering and implementing large or sophisticated new systems, projects, processes, and/or programs that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the business and customers. This position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional business and technology development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions. The role can be based in either Bellevue, WA, or the Kansas Headquarters, with a strong preference for Bellevue. The Sr Project Manager is responsible for assembling key players on the project team and nurturing internal working relationships across the enterprise, fostering the development of cross-functional teamwork. This includes delegating project responsibilities and task interfaces, advising, motivating, and leading the project work and resources involved within the project. The manager ensures timely activity, integration, and productivity of technical support while coordinating the efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion. In addition, the Sr Project Manager facilitates the creation of the project charter, examines project-related technical documentation for completeness, and ensures availability and distribution to all project team members. They are also responsible for creating work breakdown structures, developing and updating project schedules/plans, and managing deviations from the plan. The role involves analyzing the validity of schedules submitted by outside parties, supervising actual project progress, and documenting all changes in project parameters. The manager will identify risks in projects, assess and mitigate them using confirmed PM techniques, and facilitate project risk reviews. Upon project completion, they will close all project documentation and archive appropriate records for future reference, providing recommendations for improvements in process and procedure.
