About The Position

KenMor Electric Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. As an established leader in the electrical contracting industry, we specialize in large-scale construction projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. Our management team is dedicated to guiding clients through all phases of planning, design, construction, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing large-scale projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million. In this role, you will manage all aspects of large-scale electrical projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to define project requirements and objectives. Leading project teams, you will provide guidance and direction, develop and maintain project schedules, and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring project budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards, and negotiating subcontracts. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor other project managers and assistant project managers, coordinating all aspects of construction with the on-site project superintendent. This position requires a minimum of eight consecutive years of experience in commercial electrical project management, along with strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will engage with clients, project teams, and vendors. Proficiency in project management software, such as Excel, Accubid estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project, is necessary. Professional certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), are a plus. You should also have advanced knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
