About The Position
At T. Rowe Price, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager (sPM) to join our team in the Asset Management/Financial Services sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects that are of moderate to high complexity, particularly those that support our Distribution organization. The sPM will work closely with senior leaders across various departments including Distribution, Marketing, Client Servicing, Reporting, Investment Operations, and Technology. The primary focus will be on growth initiatives across APAC, EMEA, and the US, contributing to our overall strategic program portfolio. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing change projects, facilitating decision-making among cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project management processes and best practices are adhered to. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, in accordance with the processes established by the T. Rowe Price Transformation Office and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and influence management skills, with a proven track record in managing complex projects within the financial industry. Candidates should be adept in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and have experience in driving transformation projects and launching new products. A hands-on approach to program/project management is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with multiple business partners to achieve desired outcomes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing project charters, integrated project plans, and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that all deliverables meet the established success parameters and business objectives.
