About The Position

The project estimator plays a critical role in the construction and project management industry by meticulously assessing and quantifying all the elements involved in a project's cost estimation. Their primary responsibility is to analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for successful project execution. The Project Estimator will use their expertise to create detailed and accurate cost estimates, taking into account factors like market prices, labor rates, and project-specific variables. Project Estimators work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure that budgets are well-defined and realistic. Their scope of work also includes conducting cost analysis, preparing bid documents, and monitoring project expenses, as needed, to ensure that the project remains within budget constraints.
