Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor's in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical) or suitable experience in lieu of formal qualification.
  • 8+ years relevant engineering experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or food and beverage industries (must include 3+ years of capital project management).
  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of engineering theoretical fundamentals of equipment operation, and demonstrate full use of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in creative and novel ways to solve complex technical problems.
  • Strong responsibility and target implementation capability.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point & Project.
  • Prior experience in factory operations, maintenance, or project engineering is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective, easy-going communication style.
  • Engineering background preferred; proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) or liquid manufacturing environments, as well as warehouse logistics—including pre-treatment, mixing/compounding, filling, and packing—is highly desirable.
  • Project management coordination: Basic understanding of the project execution lifecycle with a results-driven mindset. Proven ability to coordinate and communicate across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with hygiene standards and validation processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading project responsible scope process activities execution with internal cross function team/external souring service consultant/supplier on safety, quality, schedule and cost management to ensure whole project lifecycle was successful delivered.
  • Leading responsible scope whole process Management on design Consultant & process vendor to complete the project Concept design, Basic design, Detail design and participate all the project design review, workshop to ensure a good design qualify.
  • Lead and oversee responsible scope process/equipment package work and progress from vendor selection, FAT, installation management, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ.
  • Lead responsible scope project engineering handover to cross function including production / maintenance / quality /R D etc.
  • Participate & Support the Start-up team to manage/Execution OQ/PQ as well as the SOP, PM, QMS system set up.
  • Support the project document control system build up to ensure the project GDP (Good Document Practice) is applied.
  • Ensure project scopes fulfill relevant regulatory requirements including compliance with company requirements, FDA regulations, and state/federal EHS requirements.
  • Prepare project budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Create project implementation timelines i.e. milestone and detailed project schedules.
  • Potentially manage up to 1-2 direct reports to coach, support and direct to deliver CapEx project.
  • Manage multiple capital projects of different scales by leading cross-functional teams of internal/external resources to generate project documentation including drawing packages, equipment specifications, user requirement specifications, bid packages, qualification protocols, other.
  • Schedule and conduct regular meetings with project teams to communicate project status, plan activities, updates to key stakeholders regarding project's progress, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Responsible for contractors, building construction, and field installation including ensuring equipment and workmanship meet or exceed corporate standards and project requirements and integrity of operations is not compromised through to start-up, and commissioning.
