About The Position

Honeywell is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer - Program Management to lead the end-to-end development and launch of industrial IoT and control products that combine hardware, software, and mechanical engineering. In this role, you'll guide global cross-functional teams, manage program scope and execution, and deliver innovative solutions that improve safety, reliability, and efficiency for our customers. PMC is a $1.5bn Strategic Business Unit within Honeywell's Industrial Automation Group, specializing in gas measurement, control, detection, field instrumentation, terminal gauging, and custody transfer solutions. Our innovations enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability for customers in oil and gas, renewable energy, utilities, and semiconductors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 2+ years of program or project management experience in product development.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing and/or developing experience with hardware/software integrated products and global development teams.

  • Proficiency with MS Project tool, including ability to create and maintain complex schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 2-3 concurrent global new product introduction programs, overseeing integrated hardware, software, and mechanical product development.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, and budgets using MS Project, ensuring delivery within defined scope, cost, and time targets.
  • Direct cross-functional engineering and operations teams (10-15+ across multiple sites), ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Define program scope and manage change control, including negotiations with stakeholders on program contracts and scope variations.
  • Drive commercialization success, ensuring products meet ROI, cost, and business objectives while balancing technical feasibility.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, while capitalizing on opportunities to improve program outcomes.
  • Deliver hardware to manufacturing, ensuring readiness for production and successful design transfer into factory processes.
  • Report program status to senior leadership, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices, applying structured problem-solving to strengthen program results.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and, when required, engage directly with customers to align technical execution with business needs.
