Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a senior-level engineer to join the Investigative Engineering Group in our Atlanta, GA office. This senior-level engineer will work with multiple project managers on a broad range of investigative project types. This position will focus on developing and managing engineering services for renovation, restoration, retrofit, and repair projects for existing structures. Work will include mentoring staff, business development, meeting with clients, developing reports, and producing engineering deliverables as defined by the particular project needs. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards and the ability to formulate appropriate conclusions to the conditions encountered during investigation are required skills. The successful candidate will be required to manage and oversee staff conducting field investigations, recommend testing programs, develop reports and repair documents, and perform construction administration services. Projects will necessitate a balance between in-office design time and on-site evaluation time. Our project locations will include throughout the region and can sometimes take us nationally, offering some opportunity to travel. The position will require interactions with clients, including building owners and contractors, along with opportunities for marketing and business development activities. About Martin/Martin, Inc. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and contractors as you build relationships throughout the project life cycle.
