About The Position

In this role, you will lead Project Development activities for multi-scale technically complex projects, primarily focusing on Gas Transmission Midstream (GTM) while also engaging in projects related to Liquids Pipelines (LP), solar, wind, carbon capture, and gas distribution. The position involves guiding a team through the planning, design, risk assessment, and project sanction phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring effective decision-making and project execution.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in an applicable subject area.
• Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering design and project management related to gas and liquid hydrocarbons transportation.
• Proficiency in leading and providing direction in a project environment with minimal oversight.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including making presentations to senior leadership.
• Ability to self-prioritize and problem-solve using industry-standard methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with renewable energy projects such as solar and wind.
• Familiarity with carbon capture technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop recommendations for crucial business decisions on new capital projects.
• Lead a team of internal and external professionals in engineering, system design, cost, risk management, and financial planning.
• Scope projects involving new technologies, specifications, geographic areas, and lines of business.
• Support an internal customer portfolio of multiple projects, prioritizing and ensuring governance and standards are met.
• Act as a key point of contact and liaison within the Projects organization.
• Craft alternate project options to assist decision-makers in selecting efficient project solutions.
• Develop strategy and provide inputs into project performance reporting, including standardized monthly reports and dashboards.
