About The Position

Join Honeywell as a Sr Program Specialist - Drive Growth in Building Automation! Are you a results-oriented Project Manager with a knack for driving growth and delivering successful outcomes? Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is looking for a Sr Program Specialist in the greater Atlanta area to play a pivotal role in managing our diverse building technology programs and projects. As our Sr Program Specialist, you'll be the operational backbone for building technology projects, including Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems. You'll expertly navigate the complete project lifecycle, from initial pre-sales and development through delivery and close-out for our ongoing customer and product support initiatives. Your expertise in estimation, contract review, budgeting, and cost controls will be critical in streamlining processes, enhancing performance, and achieving successful outcomes. You'll also serve as a vital liaison between management, planning, and project teams. Monitor project status, budgets, and financials. Coordinate schedules and provide regular status reports. Proactively address project issues to ensure productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Develop robust mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders. This is a high-impact role where you'll ensure efficient program execution, meet all requirements and deadlines, and foster strong team collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on estimation and budgeting.
  • Commercial construction or automation industry experience.
  • 5 million per year of P&L portfolio management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing complex programs in a corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • PMP certifications.
  • State level licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Managing project charters, risk plans, schedules, and financial targets for successful delivery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Review contracts and estimates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor program performance, budgeting, and cost controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Financial forecasting, working capital control, and delivering the committed P&L.
