About The Position

The Sr Program Manager, Technical contributes to T-Mobile success by delivering and implementing large or complex technical programs, processes and projects to improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the business or customers. This position provides senior level of support to Billing Platforms Testing and Environment Management team monitoring the progress of related initiatives and ensuring these initiatives are successful by achieving their expected goals within the program. The position will be expected to identify impediment to progress and drive resolution to ensure timely completion testing timelines within the Billing domain. The Sr Program Manager, Technical collaborates and coordinates effectively with departmental and cross-functional teams (including product, engineering and network development teams) to solve problems and implement new solutions. This position manages the end to end testing and certification process of products, systems and/or services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Required)
  • 4-7 years - Experience in organizational programs, project management or related area.
  • 4-7 years - Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, and Product teams to drive iterative delivery of cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Develops program roadmaps, initiative project plans and schedules, and provides budget oversight for the business group on the program(s). Monitors actual program progress compared to baseline, and reports progress against KPIs. Documents, obtains approvals, and tracks all changes in program and project tools/systems. Produces detailed reports and communicates program status to respective partners, program sponsor and executives. Hosts management and program team meetings, as the need arises, keeping the program team advised and progressing including program reviews with stakeholders as nvitalto perform ongoing assessments on the progress of program(s).
  • Facilitates the creation of the program charter (mission statement, KPIs, key partners/stakeholder teams, program roadmap/key initiatives). Ensures availability and distribution to all program team members and leadership. Adjusts charter, as needed.
  • Develops and implements process controls ensuring department compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including budgets, compliance, contract assistance, and day-to-day management of the department business processes and quality standards. Manages contracts and vendors. Acts as a liaison between management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management.
  • Works with other program managers, project managers, and management to identify and address testing and environment interdependencies and resource constraints with other programs or projects along with risks and issues to the program. Ensures timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administers efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion. Develops program solutions to minimize the impact of risks and issues and ensure alignment to time, cost and scope.
  • Delegates responsibilities and tasks, and interfaces, advises, motivates, and manages program work and resources. Questions ambiguous responsibilities and manages conflicts to an early resolution or customer concern of any unresolved issues. Plays a support role with development and technical solutions ensuring all groups' responsibilities are included.
  • Brings changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop protocols withing the Billing Platforms Testing team. Manages change within the programs and evaluates risks and assesses potential impacts on program delivery.
  • Owns quarterly planning process and provides commitment to assess and/or support delivery for prioritized initiatives. Additionally, supports capacity management, forecasting and financial management.
