The Sr. Program Manager - Supply Chain Strategy at Nordstrom is responsible for driving key investments in the supply chain, focusing on the delivery and deployment of new assets and capabilities. This role aims to enhance customer proximity through innovative technology and effective project management methodologies. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project launches and adherence to operational standards.

  • Work on projects of high complexity and cross-functionality, implementing automation solutions and warehouse management designs.
  • Develop and drive adherence to project/program reporting structures across all organizational levels.
  • Deliver programs to specifications across internal and external partners.
  • Translate delivery milestones and budget details into a managed integrated view to achieve program objectives.
  • Develop frameworks with finance and operations to ensure ROI is achieved.
  • Create program updates for multiple leadership levels, including direct updates to the Executive Team.
  • Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues while facilitating clear communication across teams.
  • Train and mentor team members on solutions and best practices for site implementations and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in integration meetings to ensure adherence to operational workflows and business requirements.
  • Govern scope changes to ensure business processes and solutions deliver customer value.
  • Facilitate and manage all aspects of build, testing, training, and change management for stability and scale.
  • Lead on-site implementations to ensure business requirements and KPIs are met.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, information systems, or a similar field.
  • 8+ years of progressive project management and execution experience, particularly in site implementation.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise projects, including launching greenfield and brownfield facilities programs.
  • Ability to manage complete cross-functional requirements and deliver successful deployments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with leaders at all levels.
  • Minimum 4+ years of technical experience with supply chain systems (warehouse management, transportation management, ERP, etc.).
  • Supply chain expertise in retail or consumer goods, focusing on logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
  • Certification in project management disciplines (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain systems and processes is advantageous.
