Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of prior experience in consulting, enterprise level portfolio/program/project management.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement project management, and change management.
  • Experience with financial statements, terminology, analysis, and business case development.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Expertise in analyzing and planning complex, multifunctional initiatives.
  • Minimum 2 large scale implementation of programs.
  • Excellent understanding of program management and Agile methodologies.
  • Good understanding of change management principles.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems characteristics and integration capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of people leader experience, with at least 1 year leading people leaders.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).
  • Prior Software Transformation program experience.
  • Guidewire experience.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and experience in developing/managing business cases.
  • High attention to detail and proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent skills using MS Excel, SmartSheet, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic program execution, managing cross-functional teams and transformation program governance.
  • Manage a team of program management resources overseeing the portfolio of enterprise and divisional initiatives.
  • Align with business and IT leaders to understand divisional strategies and translate that strategy into roadmaps for execution.
  • Provide central oversight and management for Next Generation Transformation, from program inception through execution.
  • Conduct analysis on program levers, dependencies, and tradeoffs to inform program timelines and strategic investment decisions.
  • Develop senior level presentations and present in meetings with leadership.
  • Lead and mentor Program Managers in support of Product, IT, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Manage consistency and quality of Program Management services provided to internal customers.
  • Establish trusted relationships with key program/project partners.
  • Act as Liaison between product leadership and Strategy Execution and Realization (SEAR).
  • Mobilize, motivate, and influence key partners and project teams.
  • Assist Business Owners in managing risk and keeping clients advised of relevant developments.
