About The Position

Join Axon and be a Force for Good. At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other. Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter. Your Impact We are hiring a senior, licensed electrical professional to serve as the electrical subject matter expert (SME) within Axon’s Vehicle Intelligence Professional Services organization. This role is responsible for owning the AC electrical infrastructure scope for a growing portfolio of fixed, pole-mounted, and roadside technology deployments, including Automated License Plate Reader and related Vehicle Intelligence solutions. This Professional Services Manager will partner closely with customers, vendors, Sales, Product, and Deployment teams to ensure electrical feasibility, accurate scoping, and compliant execution. The role blends hands-on electrical expertise with program leadership, acting as the authority on power, infrastructure readiness, and electrical risk across complex deployments. This is not a traditional field electrician role — it is a strategic technical leadership position designed to de-risk delivery, control cost, accelerate deal velocity, and scale deployment throughout. Vehicle Intelligence deployments increasingly depend on reliable, compliant AC infrastructure. This role ensures Axon scales faster, delivers with confidence, and avoids unnecessary cost and risk by embedding licensed electrical expertise directly into Professional Services. This position directly supports revenue and deal velocity by enabling Axon to self-qualify for deployments that require licensed electrical oversight, accelerating permitting and inspections, and reducing late-stage electrical risk. This is a high-impact role with visibility across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations — ideal for a senior electrical professional who wants to influence strategy, not just installations.
