About The Position

The Production Test Engineering Section Manager will be directly responsible for managing a functional team of engineers who support production testing in the Andover factory. The role involves prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs, coordinating resources, managing team staffing levels, and interfacing with strategic make center personnel and leaders. The manager will also be responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and employee performance development, ensuring the technical quality of engineering tasks, product compliance, and providing critical oversight to the team of engineers. This includes staffing and approval of timecards, developing sustaining solutions to technical problems, troubleshooting manufacturing systems, and leading root cause and corrective action initiatives. The position requires direct support of manufacturing test activities and spending a significant amount of time on the factory floor in a highly demanding dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of experience in leading people/teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
