A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means becoming part of a dynamic team that drives the strategy of internal partners such as Marketing and Store Operations through print and kitting projects. The TPS team has a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to planning, press, fulfillment, and distribution, enabling us to positively impact guest and team member experiences while embodying Target’s core values. As a Sr Production Scheduler within Target Printing Services, you will… Be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive production schedules. Align resources, timelines, and priorities across multiple business functions. Partner closely with internal stakeholders (production and planning teams) to execute business needs into production plans. Balance operational capacity, and delivery commitments. Use internal MIS software to link and upload jobs into automated schedules. Publish/distribute twice daily schedule. Host twice daily production meetings. Host twice weekly scheduling/planning/production meetings. Model multiple scheduling outcomes to identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend proactive adjustments that ensure on-time completion of critical projects. This role works on-site from our Brooklyn Park printing facility.

  • Be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive production schedules.

  • Provide regular reporting on production performance, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for scheduling processes, tools, and best practices within TPS.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination — preferably in print, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, resource optimization, and supply chain dependencies.
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and make data-driven decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in production scheduling and planning systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels.
