About The Position

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a Sr. Production Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring quality performance across assigned programs by partnering with cross‑functional teams to meet customer expectations. The position supports proactive risk mitigation and nonconformance management while serving as a key quality presence on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities include supporting product selloff, customer audits, and qualification activities, as well as driving continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce risk, and strengthen overall manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Electronics, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or comparable quality management systems (ISO9001)
  • Experience supporting product and process qualification and validation activities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specifications
  • Familiarity with configuration control and change management processes
  • Strong computer skills, including quality systems and data analysis tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high‑reliability environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to drive effective root‑cause investigations
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a dynamic production setting
  • Clear and concise communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative, team‑focused mindset with strong cross‑functional engagement and influence skills
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate diverse personalities, build trust, and foster productive team dynamics

Nice To Haves

  • IPC certifications related to circuit card assembly or inspection (600, 610, 620)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Audit support experience (customer, third-party, or internal audits)
  • Proficiency with SPC, statistical analysis, and quality data tools
  • Experience with cables, circuit cards, or mechanical assemblies a plus
  • Active government security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary quality interface for customers during product selloff, inspections, and audits
  • Support customer-facing quality activities, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare documentation and evidence packages for customer reviews and acceptance activities
  • Represent quality interests during customer communications and drive timely resolution of customer concerns
  • Participate in internal and customer audits, supporting corrective action development and closure
  • Facilitate and be quality representative supporting the review, investigation, and disposition of nonconforming material through MRB processes in accordance with quality system requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional evaluation of defects to determine root cause, containment, and corrective action
  • Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of nonconforming product decisions
  • Support rework, repair, and concession activities while maintaining compliance with customer and contractual requirements
  • Monitor trends in nonconformances to identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities
  • Support product transition, Low-Rate Initial Production and Full-Rate Production through structured workplan development and execution
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure process readiness, risk mitigation, and production stability
  • Maintain controlled documentation and process monitoring strategies to reduce scrap, rework, and escapes
  • Evaluate and support engineering changes in alignment with configuration management requirements
  • Contribute to qualification, validation, and first article activities to ensure repeatable manufacturing performance
  • Drive data-based continuous improvement initiatives within assigned manufacturing areas
  • Analyze quality metrics to identify recurring issues, process variation, and yield improvement opportunities
  • Lead root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions
  • Promote best practices in workmanship, inspection discipline, and process control
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality culture and operational effectiveness
