About The Position

The Sr. Production Associate, Handbags is responsible for the flow of product between vendors and factories and coordinates shipments with agents and warehouses. This position supports the Wholesale Handbags business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

Requirements

High school diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2-4 years experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the flow of information to sales force and customer service.
Enter all Work In Process; update all changes correctly with prices, factories, XF.
Style Master, QRS, UPC
Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.
Coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses.
Coordination of sample approvals within the team and design.
Coordinate production approvals.
Buy handbags and source to various countries.
Monitor the flow of goods to ensure punctual delivery and cost effectiveness.
Monitor costs, calculate margins and monitor inventory levels.
Create production schedules.
Supervise writing of buys and sourcing to various countries.
Oversees and monitors delivery of all orders placed in various countries.
Participates in production decisions concerning new line products.
Participates in determining product costs and resource needs.
Participation in product review meetings
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
