This role is in Textron System's Electronic Systems Domain. The candidate will serve as an Electronic Warfare (EW) simulation training developer and instructor in Hunt Valley, MD, with the potential to support training at both US and international customer sites. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial qualification, refresher, and sustainment training, documenting and tracking student progress, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for operations and maintenance related issues, providing technical and operational expertise for hardware and software development, testing, and utilization, and conducting course development.

  • Serve as classroom and/or field trainer to conduct initial qualification, refresher, and sustainment training.
  • Document and track student progress.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for operations and maintenance related issues.
  • Provide technical and operational expertise for hardware and software development, testing, and utilization.
  • Interface with engineering personnel to support product improvement.
  • Conduct course development.
  • Develop and present formal training courses and materials.
  • Conduct training task analysis.
  • Assure that uniform and efficient training and publications processes are applied on assigned programs.
  • Coordinate editing, production, and delivery of training materials.
  • Evaluate training methods and recommend changes/improvements to ensure efficient and effective qualification of students.
  • Work experience demonstrates the ability to train others (this can be on-the-job leading/training others, in a training role or equivalent).
  • High-energy with a passion and enthusiasm for helping people learn and grow.
  • Experience in an Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) role (Technical ELINT preferred).
  • Strong foundation (basic to intermediate knowledge) in the electromagnetic spectrum, ELINT, and how it is applied in a Test and Evaluation role.
  • Experience with basic to intermediate Electronic Warfare (EW) concepts and simulation.
  • Experience in developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for complex systems (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess or be able to acquire a secret security clearance or higher.
