Your Role on Our Team As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of analytical products that enable the business to plan, execute and measure promotions with confidence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Sales, Channel Marketing, Solution Delivery & Finance to define business requirements, prioritize features & functionality, and ensure consistent, reliable access to trusted data. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, analytical, curious, an excellent communicator, and possesses a deep understanding of agile product delivery principles and practices. You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Promoting a culture where teams are inspired to collaborate; ensuring everyone understands their part in the process. Performing the soft skills of Product Ownership such as team collaboration, being detail oriented, and being a problem solver. Driving agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews with a continued analysis of team ceremonies effectiveness. Collaborating with the business users to ensure clear understanding and acceptance of user stories for analytical needs into data models and visualization requirements. Be the team captain! Building a relationship with the team & leaders to ensure team outcomes align with key business stakeholder needs. Maintaining a prioritized product backlog with epics, features, and user stories. Continuously refining and grooming the backlog to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements. Defining and prioritizing business requirements and enhancements, in addition to writing & owning acceptance criteria. Creating and maintaining a team roadmap that outlines the timeline for delivering key milestones. Acting as a communication bridge between team and business stakeholders to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions. Effectively communicate updates and status to the necessary audience. Opportunity for mentorship, guiding teams & fostering a collaborative environment. Sharing experiences and best practices with other Product Owners. Identifying opportunities for process or data governance & security improvements within the team. Defining and communicating product vision aligned with business goals; acting as voice of the customer/user. Debating, challenging and aligning with key stakeholders & cross functional partners to arrive at an ideal outcome. Developing documentation, training materials and reusable assets that support business user adoption and self-service analytics. Organizing PI Planning inclusive of meeting facilitation & outlining key objectives for necessary team & business audience
