If so, the AWS IoT team is seeking a talented, self-directed Senior Product Manager-Technical to drive product development in AWS IoT. We are looking for an experienced and motivated product leader who demonstrates technical depth and business judgment. In this role, you will be responsible for AWS IoT device connectivity and management, helping identify customer needs, and fulfilling them through delightful products. You will work directly with customers to identify ways in which IoT Core can be used to help onboard hundreds of millions of IoT devices and deliver customer value in IoT verticals such smart homes, connected vehicles, smart factories, telecommunication, etc. You will be able to leverage the latest technology developed for the AWS cloud to solve customer problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Dive deep with customers to understand their needs, the opportunity, and identify the quantifiable business outcome. Translate the customer problem statement into product definition.
  • Use product manager toolkit to conduct market research, evaluate market dynamics, analyze customer data and conduct direct communication with customers to drive the product vision and make informed roadmap decisions.
  • Set the vision, define the use cases and the product requirements for AWS IoT as well as execute with engineering to deliver the results.
  • Partner closely with development, user experience, research as well as sales, marketing, and services team to drive AWS IoT adoption.
