About The Position

Join the AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) Sales Planning Tools team, where we provide the services, technology, and data to support the rapidly growing world-wide AWS Sales organization. Our team manages a portfolio of complex, high-impact, and intelligent planning tools, with an exciting multi-year product roadmap. We are seeking a talented, innovative Sr. Product Manager with exceptional skills in inventing and simplifying, problem-solving, and clear communication. You will be responsible for onboarding the AWS Partner Organization to AWS Sales Planning, specifically owning GTM Partner Hierarchy, Partner Segmentation, and Partner Account Ownership. This entails designing and delivering a global, enterprise-grade web-based sales planning application for the Partner organization. You will define the product’s 2-3 year vision and strategy, including the delivery of automation and intelligent recommendations to drive a more efficient and effective Partner Sales Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology and data decisions and strategy related to product.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; demonstrated track record of independently developing creative solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product strategy and product definition.
  • Define and manage multi-year product roadmap, including introduction of AI/ML to transform AWS planning.
  • Capture, document, and communicate business and technical product requirements.
  • Translate requirements into features and user stories. Drive technical team understanding of requirements.
  • Manage technical build against business requirements. Provide thought leadership with engineering on implementation.
  • Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders from Global AWS Sales and Sales Operations teams and other System and Application teams across WWRO.
  • Lead document development for leadership reviews.
  • Own project status updates to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Plan and conduct user testing.
  • Drive change management and adoption of solution across AWS Sales and Sales Operations.
  • Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.).
  • Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the platform.
  • Deep dive problems or opportunity areas and propose solutions to address.
  • Generate new ideas to drive improvement, efficiency and automation across AWS Sales.
