As Bayer Crop Science's digital farming arm, we advance regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in agriculture. We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product management for two Platform Services teams (a.k.a. our core infrastructure teams). As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will drive the innovation and evolution of our cloud and infrastructure products that ultimately enable farmers around the world to obtain and utilize our digital tools. The ideal candidate possesses a deep background in cloud technologies and infrastructure, coupled with outstanding product management and leadership abilities. This candidate is expected to have experience leading infrastructure projects and may have previously worked as an Engineering Manager for DevOps or infrastructure teams, an infrastructure Technical Product Manager (TPM), or a Senior Staff Engineer, transitioning into a more product-focused role, catering to internal customers. This role will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring our cloud infrastructure solutions meet the evolving needs of our organization and internal customers by transforming and professionalizing our internal systems as products. We need to accelerate our engineering teams, and you have the technical background and the engineer-as-customer-mindset that will help us do it.
