About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. The Global Procurement (GP) team is an integral engine to Micron’s growth, delivering best‑in‑class total cost and supply chain resiliency through cutting‑edge predictive capabilities, risk analysis, and a focus on sustainability and diversity. Our business goals are directly tied to the value we place on our team members—our greatest asset. We invest in our people through a skills‑based learning and development model to create clear career pathways for growth. Join us and discover why Micron’s Global Procurement team is the preferred destination to unleash your talent. Role Overview As a Senior Product Manager, Agentic AI Development within GP, you will build and ship agentic AI solutions that measurably improve day‑to‑day procurement work. This is a hands‑on development role—you will work directly with users to discover high‑value use cases, design agent experiences, and develop agents that are reliable, usable, and ready to scale. User Experience (UX) is paramount in this role. Success is defined by whether GP users actually adopt the agents because they are intuitive, reduce friction, and deliver real productivity gains—not just because they exist. This is not an IT role; however, you will partner closely with IT, Security, and governance teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise guardrails, approved environments, and publishing pathways. A core expectation is innovation and exploration: you will run rapid experiments, test emerging agentic patterns, and convert the best ideas into production‑ready solutions and reusable building blocks that strengthen GP’s Agentic AI Citizen Developer Framework (an enablement model that empowers business users to build safely while reducing duplication and improving reuse).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and shipping agentic AI solutions—with evidence of end‑to-end delivery (design, build, iteration, and release) that achieved user adoption and measurable outcomes (e.g., productivity gains, cycle time reduction, compliance improvements).
  • Demonstrated hands‑on development experience with Micron‑aligned platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and/or complementary automation platforms (e.g., UiPath), Moveworks, including building agents that integrate into real workflows.
  • Strong track record partnering directly with business users to discover workflow pain points, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback—prioritizing UX and sustained adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead innovation through structured exploration—forming hypotheses, running experiments, learning quickly, and turning insights into scalable patterns, reusable components, or standardized approaches for broader adoption.
  • Experience coaching and enabling non‑technical users and leaders to adopt AI and, where appropriate, develop solutions within a Citizen Developer Framework (structured enablement model that empowers employees as AI users and makers while reducing duplication and improving reuse).
  • Experience collaborating across functions (including IT and governance teams) to move solutions from prototype to scalable deployment.
  • Builder mindset with strong product thinking: value hypotheses, iteration loops, and outcome measurement.
  • User Experience‑obsessed: able to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive agent experiences.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving AI capabilities.
  • Strong communication and coaching ability—able to raise overall AI fluency across GP team members and leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications or advanced education in AI, automation, analytics, or product management strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations environments is a plus, enabling faster discovery of impactful use cases and more intuitive agent design.

Responsibilities

  • Hands‑On Agentic AI Development Partner with GP stakeholders to identify meaningful workflow problems and translate them into clear agent behaviors, triggers, and outputs with defined success measures.
  • Design, build, and iterate agentic AI solutions using Micron’s approved stack, with emphasis on Microsoft Copilot Studio and complementary automation capabilities such as UiPath and Moveworks, as applicable in approved environments.
  • Deliver agents that are ready for scale‑up, including documentation, configuration details, UX notes, known limitations, and clear handoff artifacts for production deployment and lifecycle support.
  • Apply engineering discipline even in low‑code contexts: versioning, repeatable builds, structured testing, and continuous improvement based on usage data and feedback.
  • User Experience & Adoption Outcomes Treat UX as a first‑class design constraint: build agent interactions that are intuitive, predictable, and embedded naturally into GP workflows.
  • Conduct lightweight user research (interviews, workflow observation, usability testing) and iterate quickly to remove friction and increase adoption.
  • Define measurable outcomes (e.g., time saved, cycle time reduction, reduced rework, improved compliance workflow completion) and continuously tune agent behavior to improve results.
  • Innovation, Exploration & Rapid Experimentation Identify high‑leverage opportunities for agentic AI through structured exploration: observe work, form hypotheses, prototype quickly, and validate impact with real users.
  • Run rapid build–test–learn cycles to explore new agent designs, orchestration approaches, and workflow integrations—balancing speed with quality and safety.
  • Convert the best experiments into reusable assets (templates, patterns, prompts, connectors/configurations) that accelerate future delivery and reduce duplication.
  • Coaching & Citizen Developer Enablement Coach and enable GP team members and leaders on practical AI usage—when to use agents, how to structure good use cases, and how to build safely within approved tools and patterns.
  • Foster the Agentic AI Citizen Developer Framework by curating reusable patterns, promoting best practices, and helping citizen developers avoid reinventing solutions already built or available.
  • Provide hands‑on mentoring sessions (office hours, design reviews, build reviews) to raise overall AI fluency and agent development quality across GP.
  • Governance, Risk Alignment & Enterprise Partnership Partner with IT, Security, and governance teams to align development with enterprise controls, data protection expectations, approved connectors, and deployment pathways.
  • Contribute to lightweight governance that prevents uncontrolled agent sprawl by enforcing basic standards: ownership, documentation, UX consistency, monitoring, and retirement planning.
