About The Position

About the Team/Role The Health & Benefits team at WEX is leading a major transformation to unify previously siloed platforms—including Benefits Administration, Consumer Directed Health (CDH), and Cobra Direct Bill (CDB)—into a single, modern ecosystem. This role sits at the center of that effort, contributing to the development of a next-generation platform designed to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience for all customer types. This is a unique opportunity to build a zero-to-one product in a highly complex, regulated space while leveraging modern architecture and product practices.

Requirements

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, benefits, or similar domains strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and drive clarity
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to own a product domain end-to-end, from discovery through delivery
  • Experience working with modern architectures such as APIs and microservices (technical fluency required, coding not required)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive, self-starting mindset
  • Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree is not required
