Hi there! My name is Anna Marie, (or sometimes AMC) and I’m the Head of Zapier's AI orchestration, an experimental AI workspace, and this role will report to me. I'm seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead the vision and execution of Zapier’s AI Capabilities team — the group building the shared foundation that will power all of our runtime AI products, including Agents, Chatbots, and AI by Zapier. As a Senior PM for AI Capabilities, you’ll define and deliver the platform that will make every AI experience at Zapier smarter, faster, and more reliable. This is a foundational role: the AI Capabilities platform is just starting up; you’ll help design it from the ground up. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, and product teams across Zapier to build the APIs, runtime infrastructure, and orchestration layers that will power our next generation of AI-driven automation. Your mission is to make it effortless for AI product teams to deliver features that delight users; without reinventing the wheel every time. Requirements

You’re an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical foundation. You’ve worked on deeply technical or platform-oriented products; things like developer platforms, ML infrastructure, or AI/LLM (Large Language Model)-based systems. You’re comfortable navigating complex systems and working hand-in-hand with engineers to make them simple, scalable, and reliable.
You’re a builder at heart. This is a greenfield effort, so you thrive in ambiguity. You can take a blank canvas, gather input from multiple stakeholders, and turn it into a clear roadmap that balances technical feasibility with product impact.
You’re self-directed and collaborative. You excel in prioritization, roadmap planning, and leading cross-functional teams from ideation to launch. You’re transparent with your stakeholders and skilled at overcoming roadblocks to continue delivering value.
You’re bold, pragmatic, and obsessed with results. You set big goals and you back them up with diligence on why they matter and how we’ll achieve them. You are committed to delivering measurable business outcomes.
You are a skilled communicator. Zapier is a 100% remote team and relies heavily on asynchronous communication. You excel at selecting the right tools and communication styles, whether you’re articulating your team’s vision, roadmap, and progress, or building momentum across the company.
You are available for team meetings between 10am - 3pm ET. While we often communicate asynchronously, product teams have 5 overlapping business hours for team meetings and effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

Build the shared platform and APIs that power AI across Zapier’s 8,000+ integrations.
Partner with product teams to unify and evolve our AI runtimes into a single, reliable orchestration layer.
Enable AI teams to focus on delivering features that matter while your platform handles the underlying complexity.
Translate cutting-edge AI and LLM capabilities into reusable, well-designed services.
Define success metrics that ensure your platform drives measurable quality, reliability, and developer velocity.
Lead Product Vision and Strategy for Zapier’s AI Capabilities platform, aligning it with our broader company and AI goals.
Work cross-functionally with engineering and other AI product teams to deliver the shared APIs and infrastructure that enable AI-powered experiences.
Shape the developer experience for internal teams who will build on top of this platform, ensuring ergonomics, reliability, and ease of use.
Translate AI/LLM capabilities into productized components that power new user experiences.
Partner with multiple AI product teams (Agents, Chatbots, AI by Zapier) to unify runtimes into a single, reliable AI orchestration service.
Define success metrics and use data to inform prioritization, roadmap decisions, and iteration.
