About The Position
PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical in New York, NY. The role involves owning critical data platform products at PayPal such as data stores and compute lifecycles, analytical data products, middleware, frameworks, and data pipelines. The candidate will lead product strategy and create system capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on PayPal end-user experience. Responsibilities include designing and developing software solutions using a strong background in distributed and large-scale database systems, building a world-class data platform for PayPal’s data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts, identifying defects’ root cause, ensuring code quality and maintainability, and collaborating cross-functionally with global business units, engineering, and design.
