About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Designer. In this role, you will join a dynamic and small Product Design team, responsible for the interaction design of our Member Portal across various platforms. You will work on creating digital experiences that prioritize user needs within a complex and regulated environment. Your expertise will contribute to transforming the way our members interact with our services, integrating AI and conversational design. Your ability to lead through ambiguity will be essential as you partner closely with cross-functional teams to define a superior digital service experience.

Requirements

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and persuade leaders to adopt new directions.
• Successful history of collaboration with designers, product managers, business stakeholders, engineers, and QA.
• 7+ years of digital product design experience with expert proficiency in at least one area of product design.
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating sophisticated, multi-platform projects and a versatile skill set.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, aligning stakeholders to a shared vision.
• Independently identify design opportunities that drive business results and enhance member satisfaction.
• Design with a focus on human behavior and psychology, ensuring usability across multiple devices.
• Create design deliverables using Figma, LucidChart, Adobe Suite, including sitemaps, workflows, and prototypes.
• Know when existing design patterns are effective and when new ones are required for long-term use.
