Commerce Product Design Team Our team creates streaming experiences that delight customers around the world, from sub-Saharan Africa to the streets of New York: we work closely with our product, technology, and business teams to create an unforgettable experience for our customers. The focus of this team covers experiences for prospective customers with an interest in purchasing a subscription and going through the purchase journey, and new or existing users who want to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their subscription. We design for our Global Streaming Platform, serving the needs of each proposition (Peacock, NOW, Sky Showtime and Showmax). Reporting to the Senior Director, you will: Conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch vivid and compelling experiences that are contextually relevant, exceedingly useful, and curiously entertaining.

Requirements

  • You are well-versed in consumer digital product best practices, technologies, and tools.
  • You can identify the most impactful concepts and push them through a rigorous course of critical evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, success—or failure.
  • You know how to ground decisions with data and listen to the voice of the consumer.
  • You are scrappy—focused, driven, and the natural owner of both big ideas and practical daily output.
  • You feel most at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.
  • You are nimble and adaptable and can pivot as necessary, while working on different types of projects – from complex B2B services to consumer facing e-commerce flows.
  • 5+ years industry experience in the field of UX/Product Design
  • An online portfolio reflecting your experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology
  • Advanced expertise with leading design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, or other collaboration and prototyping tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing web, mobile, and other application platforms.
  • Experience working with and contributing to a design system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on a commerce product and/or enterprise B2B tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products across checkout, sign-in and account management moments.
  • Participating in driving UX design solutions by combining industry best practices with your own expertise and insight about human behavior.
  • Collaborating with product designers (including researchers, content designers etc.), product managers, engineers and other internal partners to successfully test and deliver features, products, and experiences to market.
  • Helping to translate requirements into new flows or connect to existing flows.
  • Contributing to and/or leading design team activities including ideation workshops, competitive analysis, and concept brainstorms.
  • Developing prototypes for testing with customers.
  • Advancing the fidelity of UX flows and caring for edge cases and the nuances of the experience across various devices.
  • Contributing a human-centered design point of view to team conversations.
