Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; and/or
• 10+ years experience as a Production Finance Executive or Production Accountant
• Experience working across budget ranges from moderate to tentpole-sized, with attendant complexity
• Advanced knowledge of various production accounting software such as Movie Magic Budgeting, Scenechronize, EP Smart Accounting, PSL, Vista, etc.
• Knowledge of foreign and domestic tax incentive programs.
• Knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements.
• Experience with international productions.
• Highly motivated, analytical, proactive and self-sufficient.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work independently and team up with various divisions.
• Able to earn the trust and respect of internal and external business partners.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop production accounting teams across global productions
• Drive accurate and timely financial reporting for the series portfolio
• Collaborate with Creative and Production teams to create or evaluate production plans and budgets for scripted series productions.
• Create and implement innovative financial controls and reporting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight
• Develop strategic financial solutions that support creative content production
