In this position, the specialist will oversee critical tasks such as business continuity planning, supplier performance management, and providing updates on procurement strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of the business units' requirements and challenges, enabling the specialist to develop and implement savings initiatives effectively. The specialist will also benchmark against competitors and promote supplier-led innovation to unlock value, ensuring that the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective. The Sr Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, communicating risks and issues to stakeholders, and suggesting improvements to existing processes. The position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage change effectively.
