As a member of the Procurement Process Transformation group, you will work closely with Sourcing, Procurement, Accounting, Legal, and IT to support business systems, provide technical and analytical guidance, and improve operational excellence as Viasat expands its systems footprint and user base globally. Together, we can make a better tomorrow! A successful candidate will bring technical acumen, a desire to learn, and experience in the Source-to-Pay business process to quickly understand the specific business needs of Viasat, and assist in the cutover, release, and stabilization of new Procurement systems. Candidates must understand the value of technology in supply chain to improve process control, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of demonstrated technical ability in IT, Finance, Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain within a high-tech and/or US Defense Contracting environment.
• Experience as level 3 support with a supply chain/procurement tool (Ariba strongly preferred, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Coupa, Oracle EBS, etc.).
• Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I), Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC).
• Experienced with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira) for request lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of operational functions such as Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, Receiving, Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), and Supplier Management.
• Advanced SQL skills: writing and modifying queries.
• Solid skills using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
• Based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle EBS (R12) or SAP S/4HANA Procurement.
• Experience and understanding of US Defense Acquisition compliance requirements (FAR/DFAR).
• Experience with regulated environments such as ITAR, FAA, etc.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the critical issue support point of contact for Indirect Procurement production systems support and other related Source-to-Pay systems.
• Perform user record maintenance, transaction level support, and system testing (upgrade/regression, enhancement implementation).
• Lead the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for defect remediation and enhancements.
• Manage the Core Administration responsibilities of P2P platforms.
• Research and resolve daily business system issues as reported. Coordinate with internal and external resources to find, test and implement solutions following Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) processes.
• Maintain support tickets (ServiceNow, Jira) and follow through to completion.
• Ensure day to day prioritization is effectively managed and communicated to partners and support teams.
• Effectively maintain the relationship and interactions with many different roles across several organizations, including end users, business process management counterparts, and software developers.
• Provide ad-hoc user guidance and training as needed.
• Plan and implement unit, integration, and acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
• Configure system settings and options, garnering proper approvals where needed in a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Government Defense Contracting environment.
• Provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications that is in line with collaborators' expectations and business evolution needs.
