About Marvell Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities. At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead. Your Team, Your Impact Marvell’s Procurement team plays a critical role in enabling this innovation by ensuring the company operates with scale, resilience, and efficiency. This team directly influences how innovation is funded, executed, and delivered—creating measurable business value while enabling the speed and agility required in a rapidly evolving semiconductor landscape. Prior experience documenting complex, cross-functional workflows, defining business requirements, and delivering measurable operational improvements in a global environment is essential. This role is not learning the fundamentals of procurement systems—it requires applying proven patterns and judgment immediately. Autonomy This role operates with a high degree of independence. The individual is expected to define the approach, structure the work, and drive outcomes without day-to-day oversight or mentorship. They independently identify gaps, prioritize opportunities, and engage stakeholders to move initiatives forward. Unlike more junior roles, this position does not require step-by-step guidance and is accountable for program direction as well as execution. Management Experience Direct people management experience is beneficial but not required. However, the role requires demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and coordinating work across Procurement, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Automation teams. The individual must be comfortable setting expectations, managing dependencies, and driving accountability without formal authority. Aptitude & Technical Skillset The candidate must bring advanced proficiency in enterprise procurement systems (Oracle and/or SAP), process mapping tools, and data analysis platforms. They are expected to translate complex business needs into scalable system and process designs, partner effectively with technical teams, and evaluate automation and AI opportunities. Skill level must be sufficient to independently assess system capabilities, challenge assumptions, and recommend optimized solutions—not simply document existing processes. Communication & Executive Presence This role regularly presents insights, recommendations, and trade-offs to senior leaders, including Procurement leadership and cross-functional executives. The individual is expected to be in the room when key decisions are made, providing clear, data-backed guidance that influences direction. Communication must be concise, strategic, and credible at the executive level, distinguishing this role from more execution-focused, junior positions.
