Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or process/quality roles (internships accepted).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with warehouse systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across operations and customer teams.
  • Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced automotive logistics environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process improvement tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, PDCA) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current warehouse processes (pick/pack, sequencing, receiving, inventory flow) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized work instructions and process controls.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and root‑cause investigations for operational issues.
  • Monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with GM requirements and internal standards.
  • Investigate quality concerns, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track key metrics related to productivity, accuracy, sequencing performance, and material flow.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on process and quality performance.
  • Support audits, accuracy checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with supervisors and leads to ensure process adherence on the floor.
  • Train teams on new or updated processes, quality requirements, and standard work.
  • Assist with layout planning, material flow design, and process adjustments as operational needs evolve.
  • Participate in customer and internal meetings to provide process and quality updates.
