About The Position

CAM Integrated Solutions is looking for an energetic, midstream-focused Process Engineer to join our team! This position is responsible for providing technical process engineering expertise for all phases of projects and studies. Additionally, this role is accountable for process engineering deliverables and services that are on time and within budget while meeting quality expectations

Requirements

• BS or MS graduate of an engineering discipline. Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Familiar with simulation programs: ProMax, Hysys, Aspen Flare System Analyzer
• Familiar with midstream processes (Amine treating, TEG treating, Fractionation, Cryogenic Plant, compressor stations, LACT skids, saltwater disposal facilities, etc)
• Good technical writing and communication skills
• Familiar with process controls, Cause and Effect
• Understanding of EPC workflow and project execution plan/schedules

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support and expertise for studies (vendor technology selection) and projects (conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering)
• Provide technical evaluations for project development and optimization of assets
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs
• Develop Simulations for Midstream process (Amine treating, TEG treating, Fractionation, Cryogenic Plant, heating medium system)
• Perform Process Sizing Calculations (PSV, pumps, separators, blowdowns, etc.)
• Perform control valve sizing
• Be able to develop process data sheets/specifications (pump, separator, tower, dehydration package)
• Be able to generate PSV data sheet, control valve data sheets
• Perform hydraulic calculations: single phase lines, 2-phase lines
• Develop Process Design Basis, system description and control narrative
• Review design work and participate in PHAs, HAZOP, HAZID, IPF, reliability studies and safety and facilities audits
• Troubleshoot operation upsets
• Handle environmental aspects of oil and gas design
• Ability to be a self-starter that requires minimal supervision to execute a project
• Be able to do technical bid evaluations of process equipment (example: tower internals)
• Be able to coordinate communication between vendor, client and team members
