Requirements

• BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (Electrical or Industrial Engineers will be considered)
• Minimum 5-10+ years of engineering experience in Project Management, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering in semiconductor packaging or chemical processing; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

• Mixing, coating, converting and punch press experience desired.
• Certified Quality Engineer by American Society of Quality preferred
• Six Sigma Green belt certification; Black belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects spanning across multiple functions, both internal and external to the plant
• Complete 8D process and reports to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints, internal product/process failures, equipment malfunctions and other plant support issues.
• Design and coordinate change management activities (PWP, FWP and Implementation)
• Mentor/train engineers and technicians
• Lead vendor, customer, internal and certification audits, both on-site and off-site
• Perform and participate in risk assessments (HAZOP, JSA, MOC, etc.)
• Present metrics and reports to management and external customers
• Champion and adhere to all Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
