Requirements

  • 3+ years of semiconductor experience in etch engineering, like wet bench, wet etch, dry etch, SPC or defect improvement.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in an engineering and scientific field such as Materials Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Optics.
  • Solid knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Hands-on participation in fab manufacturing environment and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

  • A diffusion process engineer is going to work with a team which may include integration, product yield, lithography, etch, diffusion, implanter, chemical mechanical polish and thin films or quality department to drive process improvements.
  • Responsible for sustaining thin film process stability, driving process improvements, controlling costs and transferring processes.
