About The Position

The ideal candidate has a background in improving business processes and facilitating organizational change management on enterprise-wide initaitives. Focus is centered around the people aspect of the business and experience in the following is preferred: Business Process Facilitation of workshops with business partners and other project team members Understands the flow of information/data that supports a process and the logical order of operations Understands how technology solutions facilitate a business process; not software/application expert or functional SME Formal and visual documentation using tools such as Word and Visio (formal) and Canva, PowerPoint, etc. (visual) Organizational Change Management Use of various methods, collateral and approaches to help people from across varying states and business groups prepare for and navigate through a change in process and/or technology Creatively and effectively communicates, both verbally and visually, to tell a story to support decision making and help impacted stakeholders understand what the change means to them Prosci certification is a plus, not required Project lifecycle phases and corresponding deliverables to move an initiative from initiation through sustainment THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Organizational Change Management or a related field and three years related experience or equivalent.
  • Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.
  • Requires the ability to perform to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
  • Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
  • Works in an office environment.
  • May require some traveling.

Nice To Haves

  • Prosci certification is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with business partners to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Facilitates a shared understanding of the business problem. Helps to define the scope of a project and determine success measures.
  • Performs root cause and current state analysis in order to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Elicits requirements from the business to evaluate options and enable a solution that supports the business process. Presents viable and creative solutions. Influences the project team to pursue the best outcome.
  • Develops a to-be business process based on best practices and industry standards, enterprise vision and objectives, and the future technology landscape.
  • Conducts the impact analysis of the to-be process, identifying stakeholders and assessing level of impact to each.
  • Understands and applies the principles, types, and stages of a change. Develops a change management approach to suit the situation.
  • Plans and implements communication, training, and sustainment activities using data gathered in change readiness and impact assessments.
  • Reviews and reports on outcomes and success measures at the end of a project. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Takes interest in and participates in peer teaching in order to help others increase knowledge and skill.
  • Supports other project implementation activities such as, but not limited to, assembly, functional and business process testing, deployment planning, communication, training and post-deployment support.
