We are looking for you to join our team as a Senior Principal Technical Services Project Manager based in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, OR a Master's degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience (an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
  • Experience in Program/Project Management and Qualification System Testing.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.
  • Ability to work in closed spaces.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft system application and Agile project management tools.
  • Experience with TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and Support Equipment, specifically in Qualification system testing.
  • Design and operational experience on Navy Programs.
  • Experience leading Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and DoD Acquisition Milestone deliveries.
  • Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership.
  • Experience with CAM Responsibilities and EVMS knowledge.
  • Extensive customer interface experience.
  • Experience acting as onsite technical customer contact for SWS Ashore and other construction project activities.
  • Experience leading and directing project teams and provides technical and analytical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program/project managers, functional managers, and customers.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Ensure that contract requirements are met by directing, requesting, motivating or in other ways effecting desired action by all participating functional organizations and/or suppliers which are necessary to meet project requirements.
  • Act as primary customer contact for project activities, leading project status review sessions with internal management and customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
