Raytheon's System Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) team is seeking a Cross Product Team (CPT) lead for the Taiwan Indigenous Defense Submarine Ships 2+ program to manage the execution of the Systems scope. This role will be responsible for ensuring all systems scope within the program is executed, managing budgets, EACs and coordinating staffing for this scope of work.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in earned value management and cost account management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with sonar or similar systems.
  • Experience with Agile Programs.
  • Experience managing cross product teams.
  • Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience with international customers and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team that supports multi-disciplined IPTs across several different program phases including new development, production and sustainment.
  • Provide systems support including design and analysis; architecting new systems; developing and documenting updated system requirements and test plans.
  • Conduct peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert.
  • Present to peers, management, and customers.
  • Improve upon existing processes and systems.
  • Interface with Program Management and the Office of the Chief Engineer and manage relationships with SE & TC Functional Management.
  • Manage and report earned value management, cost accounts, EACs and staffing.
  • Work with customers and suppliers on requirements and other systems related topics.
  • Lead the team to build a strong culture of mentoring, supporting employees in building relationships as both mentors and mentees.
