Northrop Grumman Space Systems-Launch and Missile Defense Systems offers an excellent opportunity for a Sr Principal SW Development Analyst - Global Integration SME (25-389) to join our team of talented and diverse professionals. Located in Colorado Springs, CO, this role is vital in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders across strategic, regional, and operational levels.

  • Integrating JEMINI lab test suites into our development lab
  • Assisting software development personnel with investigating and resolving issues
  • Creating configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systems
  • Developing and modifying scripts to analyze input, internal, and output message data
  • Troubleshooting issues in both testing and prototype phases
  • Developing troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documents as needed, and representing the Integration team
  • Automating scripts to configure and maintain remote hosts
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
  • Applicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.), which is required to start
  • Extremely proficient in Linux, scripting (Bash, Python)
  • High-level understanding of automation and implementation
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting methods
  • Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools
  • A current, active in-scope DoD-Issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application is highly preferred
  • Script experience is advantageous
  • Experience in developing scripts using Ansible
  • Knowledge of containerized virtual environments
  • Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases
