As a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer at ICON, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of statistical programming strategies, ensuring high-quality data analysis and reporting for clinical trials. What You Will Be Doing:

Requirements

  • A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in statistical programming, with a proven track record of leveraging data analytics in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R) and experience with data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in medical affairs or post market studies highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing statistical programming strategies for clinical trials, focusing on data analysis and reporting.
  • Leading the design and implementation of statistical programs using SAS and other programming languages to analyze clinical trial data.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including biostatistics, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs, to ensure comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior statistical programmers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Driving the development of data visualization tools and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into statistical programming strategies.
  • Contributing to regulatory submissions and publications, ensuring the integrity and transparency of data analyses.
