About The Position

At Multicloud Services organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value when it comes to cloud infrastructure. We make it easy for our customers to maximize the value of their Oracle investment as well as other clouds or on-premise infrastructure and build highly distributed, scalable, and resilient Multicloud solutions to support their business. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of cloud service software engineering: networking, high scale distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

Requirements

• Experience in building control plane components for public cloud services.
• Deep understanding of control plane architecture.
• Experience with the design of major features and launching them into production.
• Ability to work independently on most projects and tasks.
• Technical strength in cloud service software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Enable development teams by driving design of major service components.
• Work with engineering managers and TPMs to provide direct guidance to junior team members.
• Conduct high-level system design and write architectural documentation.
• Drive engineering peer reviews and hands-on prototyping.
• Perform code reviews and project bootstrapping.
• Balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements.
• Automate and instrument services to improve developer experience.
• Instill a culture of operational excellence and customer focus.
