About The Position

Mercury Systems Mixed Signal team has a great opportunity for a seasoned RF
Engineer to help us bring cutting edge technology to mission critical aerospace
and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. The
engineering team is looking for a highly experienced RF Engineer who will design
and support complex RF/Microwave products through all phases of the product life
cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing
• Experience managing projects and mentoring other engineers
• Experience of acting as senior design engineer and technical architect for complex RF/Microwave product development
• Expertise troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits
• Expertise with RF/Microwave test equipment
• Expertise using RF simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS)
• Experience with failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Experience transferring new designs to production
• This position requires you to have an active government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• CAD tools (Cadance Allego or similar)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the detailed design of RF circuits and overall product design
• Provide technical inputs to Proposals
• Provide technical Product support
• Resolve Technical issues which span programs and products
• Collaborate and effectively communicate while acting as the technical lead for development programs and production products and mentoring engineers
