Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector, Launch Vehicles Business Unit is looking for a Sr. Principal Project Management. This role is based out of Chandler, AZ and will support the Launch Vehicles (LV) Program Office in executing Launch and Missile Defense Solutions (LMDS) Sentinel scope. This position is 100% on-site. Only local candidates will be considered. No relocation provisions are available.

  • Focal for facilitating and coordinating program briefings.
  • High-visibility communications with internal customers (LVBU, LMDS and SDS executive management) as well as external customers (Air Force).
  • LV Sentinel program office lead for business development capture activities.
  • Creation of ROM's and proposals for efforts that would contribute to increasing LV Sentinel scope.
  • Collect and organize program office action items and deliverables.
  • Facilitate driving these to timely closure per program schedule needs.
  • Identification, development and implementation of tools and processes that streamline program activities.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing program office projects.
  • Manage customer data deliveries.
  • Lead Agile implementation within the program.
  • Bachelor Degree (BS) with 8 years' of experience or Master's (MS) with 6 years' experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience presenting to senior leadership and customer community.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in business development; bid and capture activities.
  • Experience in development of software/tools that allow for ease of data access and analysis.
  • Experience in development and/or delivery of Space or Launch Vehicles.
