Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Level 4 Senior Principal Program Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site daily in Melbourne, FL.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with 6 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, program control or similar fields.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Business systems (SAP, Cobra) and using Cobra in a Government Earned Value Management rhythm.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to transfer and maintain a government Secret Clearance.
  • Applicable Earned Value Management experience must be listed on your resume.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the AOP (annual operating plan) and LRSP (long range strategic plan) processes.
  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations for resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis.
  • Establish Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled.
  • Assess and maintain objective performance criteria.
  • Maintain and justify estimates to complete.
  • Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  • Conduct budget baseline funding analysis and cost risk analysis/assessment.
  • Prepare government cost performance reports and variance analysis.
  • Participate in the standard EVMS rhythm and prepare month-end reports.
  • Review EAC changes and validate incorporation into the EVMS system.
  • Assist analysts supporting CAMs for EVMS activities including WBS alignment and time phasing of tasks.
  • Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans.
